Type B Flat Washers
Type B flat washers follow the ASME/ANSI B18.21.1 specification. Compared to Type A flat washers, Type B flat washers offer tighter sizing options. These standard washers are available from No. 0 screw to 3″ bolt sizes. Similar to SAE and USS washers, Type B washers come in three different patterns – narrow, regular and wide. The narrow pattern offers dimensions smaller compared to SAE sizes, the wide pattern offers dimensions larger compared to USS sizes, and the regular pattern offers an option that falls in between SAE and USS sizes.
