Type B Narrow Flat Washers
Type B Narrow flat washers follow the ASME/ANSI B18.21.1 specification. These flat washers offer tighter sizing options when compared to SAE and USS counterparts. Similar to SAE washers, Type B Narrow washers offer a smaller OD dimension and tighter thickness tolerances compared to SAE sizes. These standard washers are available from No. 0 screw to 3″ bolt sizes. Similar to other flat washers, common uses include spanning oversized holes, distributing loads over wider areas, preventing surface damage, and avoiding embedment from nuts and bolts.
