Square Hole Washers

Square hole washers, also referred to as carriage bolt washers, are used on square neck carriage bolts and square shafts. The square hole allows for a tighter fit compared to a round hole that would need to be much larger to fit over the corners of the square shaft or bolt. The square hole also prevents the washer from rotating around the shaft or bolt, for a more secure fit.
