Clipped OD Washers
Clipped OD washers, also referred to as D-Shaped OD or Weld washers, look like standard round flat washers but with a flat edge on one side, making it look like the washer had part of it ‘clipped’ off. The unique shape of Clipped OD washers allows them to be used in a variety of applications. In situations where there is limited space or when the washer needs to fit close to edges, the Clipped OD allows the washer to be used without interfering with adjacent parts. These washers can also be used to prevent movement in assemblies by installing the flat edge of the washer against a flat surface.
